Marksmen Win in Petersburg!

After the storm passed, the Boys Soccer Marksmen flashed past Pike Central, beating the Chargers by a score of 3-1. Junior Goalkeeper Jake Noble registered 8 saves. Senior Midfielder Drew Greulich opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a low, driven shot into the far corner. Sophomore Midfielder Zaiden Tribbie added a second goal just before halftime and scored the team’s third goal late in the second half. Senior Forward Towa Kobayashi, Junior Midfielder Owen Butler, and Tribbie each added an assist. With this win, the Boys Soccer Marksmen improve to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in the conference. On Saturday at 9:00am, the Marksmen will host perennial powerhouse Forest Park in a battle for the ages at William Tell Field. Go Marksmen! Article written by: Taylor LaGrange
